"Branches" is an AV project from Ivan Shopov and Lora Zhelyazkova consisting of the sound from a modular synthesizer and audio reactive visuals, which create a mystic space when situated in silence and darkness. The momentary communication between the artists and their machines is based on generated frequencies and impulses, which split into a number of visual controllers through intuitive audio analysis. The ambient sound created with the modular synthesizer and the reactive visualization together reveal an improvised space of vibrations and shading, merging into reality and abstraction.
